Neighborhood Night Out - August 3rd

Kids Can will host Neighborhood Night Out Tuesday, Aug. 3 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. to help families get ready for the start of the 2010-2011 school year.  

Neighborhood Night Out is free and open to all members of the community. The event features many family-friendly activities such as a bounce house, face painting games and prizes. Root beer floats and lemonade will also be provided.

Volunteers from the Children’s Hospital & Medical Center Leadership Council will distribute backpacks filled with school supplies for the first 75 children in attendance. 

The event will also provide free vision screening by Prevent Blindness Nebraska’s KidVision. Certified vision screeners will be on hand to test children and teenagers ages 2-18 for common vision problems.
